Had some great fun with Jamie & Jeff today. Here’s a preview, more photos to come.

Last week I got to take photos of a beautiful young baby named Sammy, and his beautiful family, Carley, Nate and Jax. They are great friends, and not only do I love to spend time with them, I love to take their photos! The day started out a bit bumpy, as the schedule changed a few times, and little Sammy didn’t get his usual nap. But we all crammed into the car, went to the park and we took all the pictures we could until little Sammy could avoid a nap no longer. In the short time we were able to shoot, I am very pleased with the photos we put together, and excited to do some more in the near future. Here are some of my favourites from the day.

Can you say key-ute?

This boy loves his ball.

Sam loves my camera.

Boy, Mom know’s how to make Sammy happy. Despite much effort, I can never get this reaction from this little guy… I continue to try.

Sammy can’t walk on his own yet, but he’s learning — I really love this shot.

Jax was a little camera shy initially, but once she got warmed up, she was a natural. Here are but a few I got of her.

Here’s a face Sammy has been making a lot lately — I can never tell if He’s trying to smile and display happiness, or if he’s pooping… I’m sure sometime’s it could be both.

I wasn’t sure how things were going to work out with the last minute adjustments, but this family made it easy to take beautiful pictures. Thanks a lot guys!
I don’t know what it is, but fountains of water just speak to me… When you combine the movement of the water and sunshine I fall in love. After I took the photos I was experimenting with split toning in Lightroom, and love the depth and colour you can add, hope you enjoy the experimentation. I took these photos at Gore Park, downtown Hamilton, and there are more on flickr.

So, as you can tell, I’ve put up a new website.
My life has kind of been chaotic with a lot of changes and opportunities and decisions. I wanted to update my website though, so the blog and what not had been neglected for a while. I decided to release the site before it was actually finished, so that I could just get on with it, and slowly move it towards completion with content and such. I have some exciting stuff coming up, so I hope to keep everyone up to date, otherwise, please stop by and check out the progress.
Here is a photo I took at Albion Fall’s the other day, on a beautiful Sunday. Hope you enjoy.
